TOBB ETÜ was founded in Ankara in 2003 by the education foundation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). What sets it apart is cooperative education: work placements at companies are built into the curriculum and are required for graduation. Its close ties with Turkish business mean students gain real experience while they study. Teaching is in Turkish.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need the YÖS exam? — Yes: either TR-YÖS (minimum 60) or an international exam accepted by the university. Admission with a school certificate alone is not possible.
- How long does the application take? — Once your exam result and documents are ready, a decision usually comes within a few weeks.
- I don't speak Turkish — can I still study here? — Programs are taught in Turkish, so you would start with TÖMER or a preparatory year. Students from Azerbaijan usually learn Turkish quickly.
- How do I get a discount? — The discounts shown apply to students who apply through us. The university may also offer its own scholarships to successful applicants.
