UNINTURKEY — Privacy policy

This policy applies to the uninturkey.com website and the app.uninturkey.com student panel (“UNINTURKEY”).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is UNINTURKEY LLC (“UNİNTURKEY” MMC; tax ID (VÖEN) 8303178421; registered address: 176 Qurtulush Street, Goytepe, Jalilabad District, AZ1514, Azerbaijan). It decides why and how your data is processed and is responsible for protecting it. Contact: info@uninturkey.com, +994 77 255 56 59.

2. What data we collect

Account data: your email address. If you sign in with Google, the basic profile data Google shares with us: name, email address and profile picture.
Personal and contact data: first and last name, date of birth, phone number, country and city.
Education data: school or university, graduation year, language level, the universities and programmes you choose, and the status of your application.
Documents: the passport, school certificate or diploma, transcript, ID photo, language certificate, exam results and other files you upload.
Correspondence: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or through the panel, and your consultant’s notes on your application.
Technical data: session data needed for sign-in and short-lived request records used to prevent abuse. The website stores your saved programmes (♡) and currency choice only in your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

3. Why we use your data

to prepare and submit your application to the universities you choose;
to give you study advice and help you choose a suitable university and programme;
to contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp about your application (for example, missing documents or an offer letter);
to keep sign-in to your account secure;
to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you apply and to provide the service you request.

4. Who we share data with

EDDE Global MMC: our partner and service provider — consultants and the application-processing system; it processes data on our behalf and on our instructions to handle your application.
Universities: the universities you apply to receive only the data and documents needed for admission.
Supabase: the student panel’s database, sign-in system and document storage are hosted on Supabase, which processes data on our behalf and on our instructions.
Technical service providers: providers we use to host the website and panel and to send email — only as far as needed to provide the service.
Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google, sign-in is handled by Google.
Authorities: only where required by law.

Your data may also be processed outside Azerbaijan (for example, by universities in Türkiye and Northern Cyprus and on our providers’ servers), always only for the purposes in this policy.

5. Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, and use them only to create your account and identify you. UNINTURKEY’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it to train artificial intelligence models.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active and your application is in progress. If you delete your account, your account, profile and documents are deleted immediately. Records of submitted applications are kept for record-keeping without your name or contact details; a technical log of emails sent to you may be kept for a limited time. The exception is where the law requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

access your data and receive a copy;
correct inaccurate data (you can also do this yourself in the panel’s Profile section);
ask us to delete your data;
withdraw your consent and object to processing.

Delete my data. In the student panel, Profile → “Delete my data” deletes your account, documents and profile data immediately. If you cannot sign in, email info@uninturkey.com from the address you registered with — we reply within 30 days.

8. Security

Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Your documents are kept in private storage that only you and the consultants handling your application (UNINTURKEY and EDDE Global staff) can access. We do not use passwords — you sign in with a one-time email link or your Google account.

9. Students under 18

Applications by students under 18 should be made with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page; the date at the top is the date of the last change.
